Aaron and Reagan: Surprise Proposal in Telluride, CO

Aaron contacted me wanting to do something extra special for his proposal to Reagan while they were on vacation in Telluride, CO. He wanted to make a ski trail sign that said “Marry Me Reagan” and have it put on the mountain for their ski trip. I hooked him up with Robin Wolff, the event coordinator for Telluride Ski Resort and she put Aaron in touch with the sign maker, organized the installation, and even had a bottle of bubbly waiting for the couple on the mountain. We coordinated to meet by the sign and I was waiting there with my camera ready as Aaron and Reagan skied down. Aaron and his family were encouraging Reagan to ski toward the sign at the look out point but she didn’t understand why they wanted her to go that way, and started to ski the other way. The whole family stopped and insisted she come back up the hill and go the other way. We were all laughing as she hiked her skis back up and finally saw the sign and realized what all the fuss was about! Reagan was truly surprised and it was so fun to capture this special day for these two. Big thanks to Robin for helping us pull this off!
