Elizabeth and Mike

I probably say this about all my couples but it rings true for each and every one. I really, really enjoy getting to know them and learning all about their stories. This couldn’t be more true for Elizabeth and Mike. Their laid back personalities and unique style really shined on their wedding day and I had a great time seeing their ideas come to life. For example, instead of doing a first dance, Elizabeth and Mike sang a “First Song” together. Of course, it was humorous and playful which also suits their personalities well. Their day was in no shortage of jokes and laughter and it made for some great captures. Elizabeth and Mike were married at The Inn at Wild Rose Hall, Dec. 31st. It was a gorgeous evening out. The weather was unbelievably warm and the couple decided to have the wedding outside. A few late night arrangements and a last minute trip to the store for yards and yards of twinkle lights made for a beautiful outdoor, night time ceremony. Congratulations Elizabeth and Mike Hulse!

Lovely photos! They told a story of the whole day for those of us who weren't able to be there, but also as a photographic record of the event for posterity. The photographs are so good they brought a tear to my eye since they captured Elizabeth and Michael's love for each other and the excitement of setting out on a life together.
