I make the portrait process extremely easy for my families. I will guide you from start to finish and provide you with locations to choose from, outfit advice, and help you choose the best prints and products that fit your home and style.

While I offer both digital AND printed products, I firmly believe in the importance of printed photographs. The tangible portraits will be passed down for generations as the digital world continues to change. Your albums, prints, canvases, and metal art will stand the test of time. Plus, you get a free social media sharing digital file of every print you order! Digial files are a temporary means of storage but printed artwork is what will be passed down for generations.

The session fee pays for the reservation of your session time and date, the session time, location and outfit planning, and the photographer’s creative fees and artistic talent. It also includes a $250 print/product credit that you can use to purchase wall art, digital files, prints, albums, and more. Contact Kelly for print and product pricing.

For local families: about a week after your session, you will come into the Durango Photography studio for your ordering appointment. This is when you will see your portraits for the first time, and then I will guide you through the print and product offerings, help you with cropping, go over any retouching desires, simulate the photos in actual print sizes so you can see what each looks like at various sizes on the wall, create wall designs using her fancy photo software, and show you the samples so you can see exactly what you will get. It’s a no pressure, easy breezy appointment and I am just there to help you figure out how you want to enjoy your portraits each day in your home, whether that be an album, a wall art collection, or smaller prints for your desk or dresser. This is not a “salesy” appointment, I’m just there to guide you!
For out of town families: For those who cannot make an in-person ordering appointment, I offer online ordering. You will have access to all your photos in a private gallery website for 1 week and can have any prints or products shipped directly to your door.

Yes! Any product or digital file that you order includes retouching. I will do light skin softening, teeth whitening, blemish removal, stray hair removal, even that jelly from your child’s face that came out of nowhere because they didn’t even have jelly today!
